FREEZING/THAWING PIE DIRECTIONS
Following these directions will help you bake your pies to perfection!
There is a $2 discount on any pie that is ordered frozen for you to bake at your convenience.
Keep pie lid on pie tightly. If your freezer is extra cold and could cause freezer burn, you may want to seal pie in a freezer bag.
For fruit pies:
Fruit pies are the best at being frozen for up to 3-4 months and then being baked beautifully.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Remove plastic lid and place pie onto a baking sheet. Do not thaw pie.
Bake for 15 minutes at 425. Turn down temperature to 350 and bake for 35-60 minutes more, until pie bubbles in the center. Every oven is different, so check thee crust to see if it's getting dark. If it's looking dark while baking, protect the edges with tin foil.

Thawing Other Pies:
Pies like pumpkin, coconut, fruit tarts, and cheesecakes are already baked and do not require additional baking. Thaw these pies and tarts at room temperature for several hours. If you'd like them warm for dinner, turn off your oven after cooking and place thawed pies inside to warm while you eat dinner.
For cheesecakes, thaw in the refrigerator the day before or over night.
